Most people going to Lamma get the ferry from Central to main Village on south side. There are however two other ferries which go from Aberdeen and drop off on the north shore as well

Early Sunday morning - boat loitering off shore . Along comes other boat and they tranship boxes . I assumed it was not contraband from China but what do I know

Liquid fuels are ferried to outlying islands from the nearby Shell Depot. There is a similar ferry at North Point which takes fuel to/from Kowloon: Inflamables are not allowed in the cross harbour tunnels.

There is a power station on the far side of Lamma and for last year an experimental Wind Turbine. Last week the power company applied to set up two operational wind farms

When I visited Istanbul I noticed there were ship spotters at the eastern end of the Bosphorus checking out passing ships; They would be in heaven here - there's a boat every other minute; I am considering setting up a webcam
